Full-Time Nanny for School-Age Boys | UES & Hamptons (#2454)

Position Overview

We're seeking a dedicated, experienced nanny to provide care for two boys (ages 7.5 and 4.5) in a co-parenting family. This position involves after-school care during the school year in Manhattan's Upper East Side, transitioning to full-time live-in care during summer months in the Hamptons/Sag Harbor.

Job Details

  • Primary Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan

  • Summer Location: Hamptons/Sag Harbor (July-August, live-in)

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Compensation: $30-35/hour with $1,500/week guarantee

  • Hours: 40 hours weekly

School Year Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, approximately 1/2 PM to 7/8 PM

  • Additional hours during school holidays as needed

Summer Schedule

  • Full-time live-in position (July-August)

  • 8 days with mother, 6 days with father rotation

Primary Responsibilities

Childcare

  • After-school care for two boys (7.5 and 4.5 years)

  • School pickup and activity transportation

  • Homework assistance and educational support

  • Planning age-appropriate activities

  • Creating a stable, nurturing environment across both homes

Household Support

  • Organizing children's belongings for transitions between homes

  • Managing the 11:4 day rotation between parents

  • Preparing healthy after-school snacks and dinner

  • Running family errands and shopping

  • Maintaining tidy family areas

Communication & Coordination

  • Effectively communicating with both parents

  • Managing children's schedules across two households

  • Coordinating smooth transitions between homes

  • Adapting to schedule changes, especially during holidays
